Dancers of the Month – September

Every month, our teaching staff nominates dancers who are standing out in and out of the classroom – with their work ethic, willingness to help others, and showing kindness and friendship to everyone.

I love taking a moment to step back from the business of day-to-day operations and getting to read these notes from our teachers of the incredible things our students do – and the wonderful things happening in our studio.

Dancers of the Month are nominated by our teaching staff, and we select one dancer in each age group: Dance & Discover (3-5), Junior Recital (Levels 1-3), and Senior Recital (Levels 4+).

September’s dancers of the month are:

Dance & Discover:
Alaina B – nominated by Miss Vanessa.
“Alaina is always ready to dance and learn in class – and she works hard to make sure everyone is included and knows that they have a friend.  Alaina is a great listener and encourager!”

Junior Recital:

Josiah P – nominated by Miss Josie.
“Josiah really wants to learn and is always focused and determined to learn and grow his knowledge and movement every single class!  His enthusiasm and kindness improve the atmosphere in each class he takes.”

Senior Recital:
(this is a unique situation – we have a WHOLE Company group selected for Dancer of the Month!)
Brooklyn Company – nominated by Miss Kara
“Maddie B, Natalie K, Katie M, Michala M, and Sarah O are great leaders and role models. This summer, they were ROCK STARS by making a young dancer feel comfortable when she came to a rehearsal with them. These ladies understand what “dance family” means.”

Congratulations, dancers!  We are so proud of you.
