We can’t believe summer registration opens up TOMORROW. Wow!!
If you’ve taken a look at our schedule, there are some new faces up on the summer class schedule. Maria Sequeira, Christine Tygart, and Savanah Cosgrove will all be teaching summer classes at The Pointe – and we are so excited to welcome them to our staff.
Today, we’re going to introduce you to Miss Christine.
Miss Christine grew up dancing at the studio starting at age three and continued all the way through high school. Over the past 2 years, Christine has been a substitute teacher here. She has trained in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop. In addition to dance, she was very active in the music program at Kennedy High School competing in show choir for 4 years, 3 of which she was a dance captain, and student directing 2 Play Time Poppy Musicals. Since her graduation in 2015, Christine has taken Modern and Ballet classes at the University of Iowa where she is studying Health and Human Physiology-Exercise Science, on the Pre-Physical Therapy Track with a Psychology minor. Christine is very excited to be back at the studio teaching and can’t wait to create a fun and exciting environment for all her students!
