We can’t believe summer registration opens up next week. How is this year flying by so fast?
If you’ve taken a look at our schedule, there are some new faces up on the summer class schedule. Maria Sequeira, Christine Tygart, and Savanah Cosgrove will all be teaching summer classes at The Pointe – and we are so excited to welcome them to our staff.
Today, we’re going to introduce you to Miss Maria.
Maria began dancing at the age of three and continued dancing throughout high school. She enjoyed dancing competitively with the studio and was a teaching assistant for several years. She has been trained in the areas of ballet, pointe, lyrical, jazz, modern, and tap. She is currently attending Winona State University studying Athletic Training/Pre-Physical Therapy and loves to be a part of the dance club there. While at WSU, she has had the opportunity to perform in both student and faculty choreographed works and has taken various master classes taught by talented professors, performers, and choreographers from throughout the Midwest. She’s excited to be back teaching at the studio where her passion for dance started!
This summer, Miss Maria will be teaching Lyrical 4/5 and Ballet 5! Summer 2017 will be Miss Maria’s second summer teaching dance classes for us.
